HOW TO REACH US

  • By train
    On foot, we're at a distance of about 100 m: from Santa Maria Novella train station, in Piazza della Stazione, take Largo Fratelli Alinari, continuing on Via Nazionale, and turn left into Via Faenza. The apartment hotel is at no. 71. Otherwise, take a taxi.
  • By plane
    Amerigo Vespucci airport is 8 km from the city center by car; follow the signs from “centro storico-stazione”. Take a taxi or the shuttle bus to the Autostazione SITA terminal, near Via Faenza, where the apartment hotel is located.
  • By car
    From the A1 Bologna and A11 Pisa tollways, exit at Firenze Nord and follow the signs for “Firenze centro – stazione ferroviaria SMN”. From the traffic light in front of SMN train station, turn right and, at the 2nd pedestrian traffic light, turn right again in Piazza Adua (where the Lazzi buses are located); continue straight on Via Cennini and turn right at the end of the street into Via Faenza: the street is a pedestrian mall, with reserved access to Residence la Contessina. From the A1 Roma tollway, exit at Firenze Sud and follow the signs for “Firenze centro – stazione ferroviaria”.

Position

Residence La Contessina is located in the old town center of Florence, very close to Santa Maria Novella station.

Florence for study and work: Residence La Contessina is located just 50 meters from the Palazzo dei Congressi and 100 meters from Fortezza da Basso, the exhibition center that hosts shows like Pitti Immagine and the recent Festival del Fitness. The University of Florence is in nearby Piazza di San Marco, where you will find the Dominican Convent marvelously frescoed by Beato Angelico.
